Supplies
  • 3″ x 22″ strips of fabric {for 2″ diameter rosette}
  • approx 2″ circles of scrap fabric or felt
  • hot glue gun
  • scissors
  • grapevine wreath
1. Fold your fabric in half longways, so that it measures 1.5″ x 22″.  Tie a knot in one end.
*Don’t pull tight. Leave it kind of loose.

2. Tuck under the short end of the knot inside itself.

3. Grasp your fabric next to the knot (about an inch below the knot on your long tail), and wrap it around the knot.
4. Twist the fabric around and around the knot to create petals. Always twist in the same direction.
5. Continue twisting the fabric around. (this gets kinda tedious).
(If using fabric with a design on only one side, make sure to keep your fabric folded in half prior to twisting to hide the naked side.)

6. When your rosette reaches the desired size, snip off the remaining fabric.

7. Twist and tuck under the end of the fabric.  Hot glue in place.
8. Hot glue your felt circle on the back of the rosette.  Be sure to cover the ends of the fabric.  Trim your circle if needed so that it doesn’t show when looking at the right side of the rosette.
9.  Hot glue your rosettes to your grapevine wreath.
10.  Ta-Da!!
